Danish quartet Inventory is comprised of members of Town Portal, Deirdre, Trader and Mørkt Stof. Where these bands strive to impress with complexity, energy, and sheer volume, Inventory is an outlet for a different kind of artistic impulse that harbors on patience, naive exploration, and immersion. Still, some qualities of past and parallel bands are echoed in Inventory’s sound: a penchant for making music that feels heavy without being loud, and the ability to move effortlessly between dissonance and beauty.
